Google launched Internet Browser
September 4th, 2008 | by admin |Google would soon be launching a new internet browser by the name of “Chrome” to compete with the browsing kings like the Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. This would be an open source browser that has been designed to compete with the next generation world of graphics and multimedia technologies. Google already has a variety of online web applications like Google Documents, Spreadsheets, Picasa View and Maps that have features similar to the traditional offline desktop applications. These online applications by Google would be further enhanced by integrity in Google’s very own browser causing a threat to the traditional offline software.
According to Mr Pichai, VP Product Management;”What we really needed was not just a browser, but also a modern platform for web pages and applications, and that’s what we set out to build,”
